I could not help but notice the unfortunate irony that Dr Tchoyoson C.C. Lim has been working on his issue of Neuroimaging Clinics devoted to Central Nervous System Infections as we were all struggling with the COVID pandemic. This issue is certainly timely and topical, and I thank Dr Lim, who persevered during this difficult time to produce such an outstanding issue.
This issue beautifully covers the spectrum of central nervous system (CNS) infections with unique articles devoted to infections we rarely see in the western hemisphere, such as rickettsia, spirochete, and parasitic infections. There are also specific articles devoted to spine, head and neck, and pediatric CNS infections, with an especially interesting article on the radiology-pathology correlation.
Thank you to all the article authors for your exquisite efforts during these challenging times. The authors are world renowned for their expertise, and the contributions are superb. Finally, a very special thanks to Dr Tchoyoson Lim for accepting our invitation to guest edit this unique issue. This is a wonderful contribution that will have a lasting impact for many years to come!
